Faculty Positions
Lecturer
in Psychology. Depending on
candidate qualifications, a one-year or three-year appointment, beginning September,
2008. The Psychology Department at California
State University,
San Bernardino
is seeking a full-time, 9-month Lecturer to teach core courses in neuroscience.
Course assignments may include Biological Psychology, Drugs and Behavior,
Developmental Psychobiology, Learning and Motivation, Advanced Lab or Seminar
in Psychology: Biological, and Advanced Biological Psychology. Other courses
might include: Human Psychophysiology, Neuropsychiatric Disorders, Perception,
Behavioral Neuroscience, Introduction to Psychopharmacology, Clinical
Psychopharmacology, and Cognitive Neuroscience.
Required qualifications: Doctorate or
ABD in Psychology with a specialty in neuroscience, undergraduate teaching
experience, ability to cover both undergraduate and graduate courses. The PhD or
verification of ABD status expected at time of appointment.
DEADLINE AND APPLICATION PROCESS: Screening
of completed applications will begin May 1, 2008 and will continue until
